International machinery installations and removals specialist JH Kemp has used an Enerpac SL400 telescopic hydraulic gantry to relocate a 70-ton (63.5-tonne) press in a single weekend.
The press was being relocated within the same building, so JH Kemp used the Enerpac SL400 gantry to move the machine without dismantling and reassembling it. This saved the client three weeks’ downtime.

After a rather busy few months here at J H Kemp, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new website, designed and built by Spaghetti Creative.
So what have we been up to?
Recently we’ve completed a factory move in Surrey; we’ve been moving and packing machines for onward shipping to Malaysia and Korea; installing new machinery at a factory in Coventry using our amazing 400T Gantry System; relocating Machining Centres from Worcester to Tamworth; we’ve relocated a power press from Scarborough to West Bromwich; loaded a press with automated feed-line for onward shipping to Slovakia and relocated Clutch Plate Machinery to Italy…
And this is to name just a few of our jobs!
Our guys have been kept busy all over the country, and with lots of Machinery Moving and Machinery Installations in the pipeline we’ll be keeping the new website up to date with information and images of us hard at work.
